Frequently Asked Questions
-
Live wedding painting is an entertainment performance where a bespoke painting is created live at your wedding.
-
Most couples choose their solemnisation or ceremony moment.
Other options include a couple portrait from your pre-wedding photoshoot. The final choice is discussed together before the wedding.
-
Each commission includes:
• 4 hours of live painting on your wedding day
• A location scout if needed, as painting may start before the wedding day to ensure the artwork is done by the time the wedding ends
• After-care protective finishing, framing service, and final delivery to any address within Singapore (within 3 weeks of the wedding day)
• 2 touch ups upon request (within 6 months of the wedding day) -
Each artwork is a custom commission that involves many hours of work before, during, and perhaps even after the wedding.
Unlike mass produced decor, this is a single original artwork created specifically for you.
The entertainment aspect of painting live in front of your guests also allows them to enjoy the process together.
Pricing reflects the time, skill, and artistic process required to create a lasting piece that can be displayed for years.

Yes. We can incorporate beloved pets, family members, heirlooms, floral arrangements, venue details and other meaningful elements into your custom wedding painting for our Legacy package.
-
Painting usually begins before the wedding day itself to ensure there is enough time to complete the work.
The maximum hours our artist will be present on the wedding day itself is 4 hours, not including set up and tear down time.
-
A painting reveal is when the painter goes on stage holding the painting and reveals it to the wedding couple and the entire wedding crowd. The MC usually does a countdown, and the crowd will do a cheer. The photographer will take a group picture of the couple and painter holding the painting.
-
We can paint things beforehand and finish it at your wedding. A painting reveal is still required to be scheduled in to your wedding day timeline.
-
Our artist will need an area with sufficient light. A position with good foot traffic is preferable so guests can enjoy the live painting performance.
We bring everything. All we require is 1-2 chairs. We do not need a large table, which may hinder the crowd’s view.
Our artist will need access to a toilet, as well as f&b arrangements for the session.
All details can be discussed during the e-meeting or a location scout.

We will request that you arrange a “Painting Reveal” in your wedding schedule. This “unveiling moment” can add a lovely touch to your wedding and also have you to finally see the work for the first time. You can then have the work be displayed for guest to enjoy, especially when the wedding is about to end and they are leaving.
In the event you would like small edits, you are required to inform the painter immediately after the reveal. The painting will be taken home by the painter and be completed. Free delivery will be arranged within 3 weeks of the wedding date.
-
Yes. Every live wedding painting includes complimentary post-event studio refinements before delivery.
After the painting reveal, if you would like anything added on to the painting, you are required to inform the painter immediately. This includes minor refinements such as softening expressions or adjusting small details.
Changing large areas of the painting is not included (large areas refers to areas the size of a palm or more).
Removing of subject matter will not be allowed as erasing is generally not as easy feat with paint.
The art style will remain consistent with the artistic approach shown in our portfolio. Artistic interpretation will be applied.
The edited painting will be delivered to you 3 week of your wedding date free-of-charge.

We highly encourage you book us as early as possible so we can ensure all our painters do not make any overseas arrangements. Also, we only accept a maximum of 4 of paintings a month. Also, we never do 2 paintings on the same day.
We require 8 weeks advance notice minimum. For last minute bookings, we might be able to rush a painting on a rare occasion.. but we might also need to add-on an extra charge.
Early inquiry is recommended.

Yes. Live wedding painting is often commissioned by family members as a meaningful and lasting gift. We are happy to coordinate discreetly with gift givers. Do note that we will require photographs of the couple and the location before the wedding day.
-
Frames are included in the price and the painting will already be framed during the wedding.
Standard practice is for the frame to cover only the sides of the painting. No glass as it will cause too much reflection. Once the painting is finished, we will coat it with a protective layer of gloss varnish to ensure longevity.
Frame options are shown in the rate card. If a frame happens to be out-of-stock nearing your wedding, you will be required to choose a different one.
-
As we recommend acrylic paint, paintings typically last forever with a protective coat of gloss varnish.
Similar to paintings in museums, the colours of any painting might begin to get slightly less vibrant in 40 years or more.
-
As we recommend acrylic paint, with the painting coated in varnish, you can gently wipe it with a damp cloth.
-
No, there will always be 2-3 painters present scheduled to attend your wedding. This is to ensure that if someone is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will still deliver a great painting. Do note, F&B requests will be made based on the number of pax present.
-
No, you will not be allowed to.

This is offered as an add-on to the wedding painting package. Our main focus is on extravagant wedding paintings, but we are experts in all mediums of paint. We definitely am able to paint guests live in watercolour, and can give you that add-on service if requested.
Our charges is based on a 4-hour block and not based on how many guest portraits we can deliver. To give an estimate, we predict being able to deliver 10-12 pcs per hour minimum, that would be 40 pcs in 4 hours. This is subjected to how many people are in each portrait and the level of detail in their clothing.
For example: if a guest requests for a solo portrait it will be a faster delivery than a couple portrait or a group one.
Usually, we take photos of the guests to paint them and they collect their paintings afterwards.
We will prefer to be situated in the entrance hallway, and the live wedding painting to be inside of the wedding venue.
